Thank you to all 2017 Green Ribbon Awards entrants

Welcome to the 27th annual Green Ribbon Awards, held to recognise outstanding contributions by individuals, communities and organisations to protect and manage New Zealand’s environment.

Entries have now closed for 2017. All entries will be assessed by a panel of judges with environment expertise, including representatives from the Ministry for the Environment and Department of Conservation.
Finalists will have Green Ribbon Award promotional rights and their stories will be shared through our Green Ribbon Awards website and social media. We’ll also promote all Green Ribbon Award winners in media releases following the event.

Finalists are invited to attend a formal awards ceremony and dinner at Parliament on 8 June 2017, where the winners will be announced. The awards ceremony is hosted by the Ministers for the Environment and Conservation.
Thank you to entrants for sharing your stories to help us raise awareness of how individuals, groups and organisations can get involved and make a difference.
